Managed by Alexandra Health, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) is
the newest public hospital in Yishun, built to serve the healthcare
needs of more than 650,000 people who live and work in the north of Singapore.

The opening of KTPH in 2010 marks the beginning of an integrated healthcare hub in the northern region, where we aim to provide high quality, affordable healthcare to the community.

KTPH offers a comprehensive range of medical services, as well as
a full suite of medical specialties such as Geriatric Medicine,
Diabetes Care, Weight Management, Dental Care, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics as well as Gynaecology.

At KTPH, taking care of the healthcare needs of patients means
more than just providing an extensive range of medical services
and specialties within one hospital. It is also about providing the right kind of environment in and around the hospital – a place that is both conducive and comfortable for healing.

The hospital has been designed with patients’ comfort in mind. We
are pleased to have been awarded the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Award for a green and energy efficient design. Patients can enjoy enhanced daylight, naturally cool
air from improved ventilation, as well as spacious 10-bed and 5-bed
wards with attached bathroom facilities.

Patients, visitors and members of the public can relax around the hospital gardens and enjoy the lush greenery surrounding the
tranquil waters of Yishun Pond. The pond will be rejuvenated to
become a waterfront community space for relaxation and healing, where its surroundings will be developed into an intergenerational health-promoting park for everyone to enjoy.

KTPH opened its Specialist Outpatient Clinics on 28 March 2010.
Since 28 June 2010, the Acute Care and Emergency Centre (A&E)
and the inpatient wards have also opened. With this, KTPH is fully
ready to serve the healthcare needs of residents living in Singapore's northern region.
